Jim, Let me just say first that EVERYONE raved about how gorgeous the room looked and how beautiful the flowers were! I couldn’t have ever accomplished that without you, I was speechless at how it all came together impeccably! I had no doubts, by the way. Secondly, it was a joy to see you at our wedding and I am proud to call you both our dear friends. Despite my hellish limo ride (Gasp!) I had a terrific time, but you both being there for us and with us made it all the more special and meaningful. I also wanted my bouquet in EVERY picture because I loved it so much. There was a fight at the end of the night over who would take which arrangement because they were all so cool. | Dear Jim, I do hope this finds you well and busy making your special magic. Please accept my belated expression of gratitude for the extraordinary work you and your crew presented a year ago this past 18th, to be exact, for our daughter’s wedding on Sanibel. The year slipped by, as years always do, but the unexpected challenges which slowed me down more than usual and my note to you never got written, and my intentions of “stopping by” was never carried out. I know that you are compassionate enough to understand. Above I made a reference to the special magic that you do and I mean that very seriously. You were not the first florist my daughter and I interviewed, but you were the last when I saw that you understood her desires immediately and completely, that you listened and watched this young woman who emphatically stated that she wanted utter simplicity, nothing traditional nor “girly-girly”, and yet is feminine and striking. And when she said she wanted nothing but SUNFLOWERS, you described to her exactly what she wanted, thus capturing her dreams and us! Jim, you are a creative, caring, empathetic soul. Every moment of contact that we had with you was calming and reassuring, and you delivered the right touch for each setting. The beaches at Sanibel Inn never looked better with the small alter graced by the single, nature-dressed bamboo pole. And Ellington’s was transformed into a wondrous and sunny field of sunflowers, an exceptional statement against its warm background of highly-polished wood and the black tablecloths you suggested. What a sight! To this day, guest of ours are commenting about the beauty of the setting highlighted by the flower arrangements and placements. Needless to say, the bride’s sunflower bouquet and the bridesmaids’ pomander of Gerbera daisies were exquisite. Your establishment is well
